I’m so happy last night because Ginebra won the championship game. They have a great game because their opponent (Air 21) is a good team too. It’s a best of 7 game and the first game was taken by Ginebra while the second and third was taken by Air 21. Then Ginebra looses one of its players (Helterbrand) because of an injury and everybody thought that they have a big chance of loosing thing the championship. They’ve won the fourth game and that made the standing 2-2 and then their opponent won the fifth game. But Ginebra showed that they are determine to win the championship and won game six and seven. They really deserve to win the champion ship because they’ve shown their “Never give up” attitude because they’ve fought ‘till the end and most of their player are in pain. Erik Menk did a great job in the third quarter of the game and Alexander did a good game too. Who would have thought that they will be the champions for this league because their standing during the first part of the league is 0-5 but they did not give up and they were able to win the championship. I’m not a basketball fan but I enjoyed their game. I watched it since championship’s game one to seven and all I can say is congratulations and you guys deserve it!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I’m so excited to watch the next Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince). I watch surfing the net and I stumble to Warner brother’s website and I watched its trailer. I wish it’s already November because it is set to release on that month. I’m a big fan of Harry Potter and all I can say is it’s a good movie. It is one of the best movies of all time for me.
PLOT: As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past.

Old Woman
I was on my way home from work when I saw this old woman asking for a little help from those busy people that doesn’t even care to look at her. I stopped to check her out and because I think that she’s really in need I gave her 100 pesos (well that’s the only amount I can afford that time). She took my hand and said “thank you” that moment I felt that she’s really in need. I know that money is hard to earn these days but I don’t think that it is right not to share it to those people who are in need. Most of us usually think that they are just asking for money to spend on things that they don’t need. All I can say is, ask your self, “What if they really are in need?” and “What if that person is hungry?” Some of us would say that those people should get a job. But I don’t think it applies to elderly people. I don’t think they deserve to be neglected. I just wish that our Government would do something about it. Let us put our selves in their shoes and probably we will be able to understand those people.

Heath Ledger’s Stunning Performance as “Joker”
I am a fan of batman since I was a little girl. Of course, I only like batman and no one else. But let’s see… I’ve read that the latest movie Batman “Dark Knight” has a good review in an article in CNN.com. When I said I only like Batman is because, I’ve read that Heath Ledger has done a fantastic job playing the role of Joker. I know that Heath Ledger is a good actor and he became one of my favorite when he starred in “A Knights Tale”. But I want to watch him in “Dark Knight” because I became interested to see how he carried the role of Joker.

Of course the system’s that I saw is already customized. The prices for the notebooks range from 38,000php and up. I mean getting the base system with the normal specs is not bad because the specs are good. I mean this will be good if you will use it for multimedia like pictures and videos. And of course for business use.

Safety Tips on Walking After Dark
To all of us, it is never safe to walk after dark. I mean all kinds of bad things might happen and we all want to avoid it. When I was working, my schedule was night shift and during those times I was always nervous walking out on the streets. I get used to it but I looked for some tips on how it can be safe walking after dark.
TIPS ON STAYING SAFE AFTER DARK:
- - Be visible. Use reflective clothing and accessories that will make it easier for motorists to notice you.
- - Walk on sidewalks all the time, be careful on alleys because this is where some vehicles may appear unexpectedly, and pay attention to headlights.
- - Carry a flashlight for you’ll be able to see better and others will see you better too.
- - Beware of bad guys and to do this, you’ll have to look tough. Try to wear a shirt that has a police or military logo and walk with confidence.
- - Never walk on an exact route on the same time every day.

Save on Gas
1. Don’t be idle. A big no-no: letting the engine run, with the air conditioning on, while waiting or parked. That’s actually more wasteful than restarting the engine. So, if you have to wait more than a minute, open the car windows and turn the engine off. In the same way, make your warm-ups short. Half a minute is long enough, so drive off.
2. Don’t be fast and furious. Don’t rev up your engine, even if you think you’re Vin Diesel. And be gentle on the brake and gas pedals. Hard stops and fast starts waste fuel.
4. Don’t be a drag. Take out stuff you don’t need from the backseat or trunk. Every extra 100 pounds of excess weight reduces fuel economy by 1%-2%.
5. Take care of your tires. Make sure your tires are properly inflated; otherwise it will take your engine more effort and energy to run. It’s costly too, adding six percent to fuel consumption for every pound the tire is under inflated.
6. Tune up. Get a regular tune-up as recommended by your car manufacturer. That includes changing your oil and filters regularly, to keep the engine running smoothly. Poorly tuned engines increase fuel consumption by 10%-20%.

Our Fiesta
It’s fiesta in our Barangay last Sunday. I never get to experience our fiesta last year because of my job so I am so excited this year. We are so busy all morning to preparing foods because every fiesta everyone will visit your place so you better have plenty of food for those who will visit your place. We have parlor games for kids and we also have some events. In our place we had a dance contest where all teenagers compete with one another, then we had a singing contest, and then we had a beauty contest which is very exciting because one of friends was a contestant on that pageant which makes me so busy. I haven’t had enough sleep since last Saturday because of those events because it only happens once a year that’s why I don’t want to miss it. Well you see, during these days I noticed that all of us are happy and we forget all our problems. All we do is to welcome those people who come in to our house and we serve them food. I mean why, can’t we all care about everyone like that everyday. Why do we have to wait for a fiesta before we show to everybody that we care about them or maybe we are just showing off because it’s fiesta. I mean that’s our tradition and yes we can never change that. But, what I want to say is it will be better if really care for other people everyday and not just for a day. Yes, all of us in our place had a good time celebrating our fiesta. But I wish that all of us will learn to care for one another not just for a day but forever.

No to Sunburn...
1. Beware of cloudy days. Clouds and particulate matter in the air scatter sunlight. You can still burn even on a cloudy day.
2. Wear a good pair of sun glasses and some kind of protection -- the looser the better -- on your head.
3. If you are among those likely to burn, use a sun block with a PF of 15 or greater. An ounce of sun block will effectively cover your entire body.
4. Apply sun block at least 15 to 30 minutes before venturing out into the sun and re-apply at least every two hours especially if you have been swimming or perspiring.
5. Use sun blocks with higher PFs on areas that need extra protection like the tip of your nose, your ears, the tops of your feet, and your shoulders.
6. Do not use sun block on your lips. Instead, use only sun protection products designed specifically for lips.
7. Protect your children. Keep them from excessive sun exposure when the sun is strongest and apply sunscreen liberally and frequently to children 6 months of age and older.
8. Do not use sunscreen on children under 6 months of age. Parents with children under 6 months of age should severely limit their children's sun exposure.

Janina San Miguel
Janina San Miguel was crowned as Bb Pilipinas Miss World on the last Binibining Pilipinas that was held in Quezon City. Janina was nervous on the question and answer portion and had a hard time answering the judge’s question. Most of the people questioned why she was chosen to represent Philippines in the next Miss World pageant. Based on my opinion Janina is beautiful and we all know that entering a beauty pageant especially if it is your first time entering will be something that you’ll get nervous. I think we should all just support her on the next pageant that she’ll attend to. It is something that Janina can improve, she’ll just have to practice and practice to avoid that kind of incident to happen again.

Summer Vacation
I’m so excited to going to the beach next week. You see, I was not able to go anywhere for almost 17 years now so you’ll probably understand why I am so excited. I can remember that our place is near the beach and we have a small place where we eat together every morning. When I was there, I usually take a walk each morning with my mother and we usually go to the nearest supermarket to buy our food. Sometimes I do think that life in a province is better than life here in the city. But there’s always advantage and disadvantages. You see, life in the province is peaceful unlike here in the city where you’ll think of everything and it’s really stressful. But I will definitely miss my life here if I’ll live in our province. But anyway, I will never live in our province because I have my work here and I love my work. And yet, I am really excited to have my vacation with my family and friends.

Getting a Sleep during Daytime
- If you are too tired to sleep, don’t go to bed yet. Try to do something else and you’ll eventually become sleepy.
- Like myself I always like to sleep in the dark. In this case, you will need to use something that will cover your windows such as blankets, curtain, foil, etc. Or you can also use an eye mask.
- Sometimes I use to play music to get a sleep. And if your case is different, find a quiet place in your house where you can sleep or you can also use ear plugs.
- I also read books if I want to sleep.
These are the things that helped me get a sleep during daytime. So if you are having problems getting sleep, you might want to try these tips because it worked for me and I may also work for you.

Oldest Valentine Card
Since it’s the month of love, a lot of us would like to have a Valentine treats such as flowers, cakes, and of course chocolates. I’m not a very romantic person but of course I believe in love because I do have a love one. I tried to look for the oldest valentine card and I found this. The oldest valentine card was made on 1790 and this is the most expensive valentine card ever. This Valentine card can be sold for £4,000 if sold. You can find this card at the British Postal Museum and they have no plans in selling this Valentine card. The writing on the card reads:
“My dear the Heart which you behold,Will break when you the same unfold,Even so my heart with lovesick pain,Sure wounded is and breaks in twain.”

Drink Water for a Good Health
Water is also healthy for your heart. I’ve read that a study of more than 20,000 healthy men and women aged from 38 to 100. In, May 1, 2002 American Journal of Epidemiology found that all women who drank more than 5 glasses of water a day were 41% less likely to die from heart attack than those who drank less than 2 glasses of water. And lastly, water can help you loss weight because water is natural appetite suppressant healthy weight.

Turning to a Blogger
Last year, I saw on TV that you can earn money online. At first, my friends and I tried to great a blog and we even registered it to google. We’ve never got to continue our blog because we’re so excited that hey got disappointed when we only had $0.10 earning for a month. We stopped after that. And then last month, I tried to put up one myself. I named my blog “Michelle’s Entertainment Library” because I always watch Korean and Japanese dramas so I decided to write anything about Asian entertainment. I tried to read lots of stuffs about increasing my blog traffic but I think it all depends on your site content. On my blogs first week, its page impression is averaging at least 40-50 page impressions a day and I am already happy with that. Then I tried adding my site to some blog directories, and I’ve added it to Technorati, Digg and many more. Now, my blog is averaging 300 page impressions a day and I’m really glad about it. I just hope that I can improve my traffic and I’m still trying to check what I can do next. This is my new site “Mitchie’s Notebook”. I decided to put up this site because I want to write all the things that I want to write. I still maintain the other site, it’s just that the other blog is limited to entertainment only. While, with this one I can write whatever I want.

Viking: The Ultimate Obstacle Course
I’ve waited for this show since last month. It’s a game show and it resembles to a game show before called “Takeshi’s Castle”. The game is called “Vikings: The Ultimate Obstacle Course”. It was a really fun game where the contestants will have to go through many obstacles to be able to proceed to the next round. Last night they just started and only 2 of them were able to proceed to the next round. The obstacles in the first part are Oddysey it’s a rotating platform, loading dock this is where you need to catch a bag and bring it to the other side. The bag is about 7 kilos. Next stop is called Castaways, this is a zipline with a ball that the contestants needs to go through and leads to a cargo net. Then we have Math Parleys, this is where they test their mathematic skills. Then there’s the Island escape, Main Deck, Cannonballs Run, Swing Masts, and Captain’s Cabin. There are lots of obstacles left and this is going to be fun.
